i leave my blog alone for almost two months and what do i get? 8766 spam comments pending my authorization! and not even one of it was genuine. *slap forehead… oh well…
quite a bit has been going on but by the time i’m in front of the puter… my mind’s pretty much blank. let alone remember to blog. :\ maybe i really should consider closing this site down.
i went to visit jennifer again today and got to see Jayden again. cute as a button la.. but he’s such a crybaby. ;P getting heavier by the day and wants to be carried all the time. i can hardly wait till he’s bigger and can remember who i am.
i’ve been thinking of trading in my powerbook dinosour for a new macbook and was told that the maccity in amcorp accepts trade-ins, so i emailed them at the beginning of the week and at first they were very quick to respond my emails… but by midweek.. they had not replied me on a estimate value based on the specs i gave them. i started to get kinda peeved cos it left me hanging. i decided to go by their store in amcorp and looked up the person who i liaised with, who turns out to be just a sales lady. she gave a rather lame excuse for not replying my email. you say u weren’t working yesterday… but u had more than 3 days to reply me. anyway.. since i was there.. i wanted their technician to run a check on my pb’s condition and give me a quote for its trade-in value. she told me to come back maybe 2 or 3 hours later as a full diagnostic would take that long. reluctantly i left my pb there. she said she’d get the technician to call me to let me know the details and value.
so i waited.. and waited.. and finally the guy calls. and told me what i already knew and then some. “your battery life is very short”(don’t need a genius to figure that out la right after 4 years), “your hdd got problem..OS start up slow”(rubbish… i’ve never had any problems with that). Funny thing is… the left side speaker is dead.. but he never mentioned anything about it. the fella told me the same sales lady would be contacting me at about 7 or 8 to let me know the trade-in value. i asked the fella why so late. he couldn’t give me a proper answer. and so i waited.. and waited again. it was almost 8 and she still hadn’t called. i gave up waiting and just went to collect it back whether they were done with it or not.
when i got there… the goddamn sales lady went home already! bloodyhell! there was only 1 lady staff left and i told her off for her colleagues irresponsible behaviour and their failure to communicate. she calls up her colleague and asks what is the trade-in value. and when she told me how much they were willing to offer… you guess la how much!! 800fricking ringgit. want to take me for a ride issit. i told the lady forget it. i’m not that stupid.
i’m just very upset about the whole experience and to think that these buggers got some retailer 2007 award from apple’s country manager. screw you la maccity.
i’ll stop complaining for now.
want to get back to my septimus heap book 3 now.
